| Usage: |
SALL4 is associated with embryonic cell pluripotency and is a useful immunohistochemical marker for Germ cell tumors. It is an excellent marker for Non-teratomatous germ cell tumors. Staining has been observed in Seminoma / Dysgerminoma / Germinoma / Embryonal carcinoma and Yolk sac tumors, yielding 100% sensitivity for these malignancies. SALL4 is a more sensitive marker than AFP & Glypican-3 for Yolk sac tumors. |
