This test is used in the diagnosis of Juvenile Hemangioma and Perineurioma. Juvenile Hemangiomas are benign vascular tumors of infancy that enlarge in the first year of life & then involute over several years. This test helps to differentiate these tumors from other vascular malformations. It is also used to differentiate Perineuriomas from other morphologically similar tumors. |
