| Specimen: | 3 mL (2 mL min.) serum from 1 Red Top (No Additive) tube AND 3 mL (2 mL min.) whole blood from 1 Lavender Top (EDTA) tube. Separate serum from cells within 1 hour of collection. | Usage: | Vitamins are essential constituents of the human diet since they are synthesized inadequately or not at all in the human body.
