| Usage: | TB LAMP is a rapid qualitative DNA-based loop-mediated isothermal amplification polymerase chain reaction test that detects the nucleic acid of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex in pulmonary samples. The test has been endorsed by WHO (WHO policy statement 2016) and also included in the ICMR draft of the essential test list. The test is used in routine diagnosis for rapid and specific diagnosis of Pulmonary tuberculosis in Indian settings. The combination of TB LAMP with TB culture increases the sensitivity. | ||||||
