| Usage: |
Monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) is a premalignant plasma cell disorder present in more than 3% of the general population aged 50 years and above. MGUS can progress to Multiple myeloma at the rate of 1% per year. Considering this high risk of progression to plasma cell disorder, persons found to have MGUS should be monitored stringently lifelong. |
