Detection of minimal residual disease in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia predicts outcome. This assay helps to identify patients at higher/lower risk of relapse. Detection of minimal residual disease is important for risk assessment and stratification of therapy. It detects submicroscopic levels of leukemia with a clinical sensitivity of 0.01%. |
