CD7 is a sensitive screening marker for T-cell lineage acute leukemia. However, the latest studies show implications of CD7 positivity in Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) especially in M0 & M1 variants. In a small population of acute leukemia patients with a distinct phenotype CD13/CD33+CD7+CD19, origin from hematopoietic stem cells is indicated. |
