| Usage: |
CD14 is a monocytic cell marker that aids in the diagnosis & monitoring of Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML). It is preferentially expressed on monocytes, macrophages & activated granulocytes. It is especially useful in cases where it is difficult to distinguish promonocytes from monocytes on morphology and when the number of immature monocytes is low. |
