| Usage: |
Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) accounts for about 10-15% of all breast cancers. These types of tumors are negative for ER, PR & Her-2 receptors. TNBC is more common in women <40 years of age, black races & have the BRCA1 mutation. These tumors grow rapidly, spread faster, recur & have a poor prognosis. Tumors that are positive for AR show a good clinical response to Enzalutamide. This panel can be used as a companion diagnostic to predict response to Enzalutamide. |
