Usage: SATB2 (Special AT-rich sequence binding protein 2) has recently been shown to be a specific biomarker of Colorectal Cancer (CRC). It is useful in identifying the origin of Adenocarcinomas of unknown primary & distinguishing Primary Ovarian Mucinous Adenocarcinoma from colorectal metastasis. The sensitivity of this marker for CRC increases if combined with CK20 & CDX2.
