Oct3/4 is a diagnostic marker of human testicular germ cell tumors of adolescents & adults (TGCTs), both seminomatous & non-seminomatous types. Positive staining for Oct3/4 is an absolute indicator for the presence of TGCT precursor carcinoma-in-situ / intra-tubular germ cell neoplasia, Seminoma & Embryonal carcinoma. |
