| Usage: |
MYOD1 (Myogenic differentiation antigen1) along with Myogenin is a marker of skeletal muscle differentiation. It aids in the diagnosis of Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), the most common soft tissue sarcoma of childhood. Both Alveolar RMS & Embryonal RMS are positive. A significant number of cases of Spindle cell RMS & Sclerosing RMS are also positive for MYOD1. |
