MOC31 is used as a marker of epithelial cells. It stains tumors of epithelial origin, Adenocarcinomas, Papillary serous carcinoma breast, lung, prostate, and Cholangiocarcinoma, among others. MOC31 may be used as part of a panel of stains to rule out Mesothelioma and support the diagnosis of carcinoma. |
