Usage: Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is secreted by somatotrophs in the anterior pituitary. Pure LH secreting adenomas are rare. About 30% of cases are accompanied by Prolactin secretion and may be plus hormonal. IHC for LH is helpful in the classification of Pituitary adenomas.
