GATA-3 is useful in the diagnosis of Mammary and Urothelial carcinoma. Positive staining is seen in 94% of breast carcinomas and 86% of urothelial carcinomas. Positive GATA-3 in breast cancer is associated with a good prognosis and reduced chance of recurrence. |
