DNAJB9 is a novel proteomic tissue biomarker for Fibrillary glomerulonephritis (FGN). FGN is a rare disease with a poor prognosis as therapeutic options are limited. It is a proliferative form of the glomerular disease characterized by randomly oriented fibrillar deposits which are positive for DNAJB9 on immunohistochemistry. |
