| Usage: |
Cytokeratin-19 is a low molecular weight cytoskeletal protein expressed in the simple epithelium, transitional epithelium, and a few complex epithelia like myoepithelium & basal epithelium. CK-19 is useful in carcinomas with ductal or glandular differentiation like ovarian carcinomas, Adenocarcinomas of lung and pulmonary metastases, ductal cells of normal pancreas & pancreatic cancers. This antibody stains Cytokeratin-19 in the cytoplasm of many types of epithelial cells. |
