This panel is extremely useful to determine the cell line of differentiation of tumors of the unknown primary sites. Histopathologic morphology is the basis of diagnosis but many queries can remain unanswered. In such cases, IHC is the best method to obtain more information from the paraffin sections. It also helps to determine the lineage of the cells. |
