HVA and other catecholamine metabolites are elevated in patients with Neuroblastoma, Pheochromocytoma, and other Neural crest tumors. This assay is useful for screening catecholamine secreting tumors, monitoring Neuroblastoma treatment, and evaluating patients with possible Inborn errors of catecholamine metabolism. |
