| Usage: |
Secretin stimulation test is the main diagnostic tool to identify Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (ZES). Administration of secretin produces a marked increase in gastrin levels in most patients with Gastrinoma with an increase of more than 200 ng/L. Minimal changes in gastrin levels are seen in normal subjects or those with duodenal ulcers. |
