Detection of translocation t(8;14) is useful in the diagnosis of Burkitt lymphoma (BL) or Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) with features intermediate between BL & DLBCL. This translocation is seen in endemic African BL as well as non-endemic BL. It is also positive in some cases of Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). |
