| Usage: | NTRK3 gene is located on chromosome 15q25,9 and translocations affecting this gene have been reported in several cancer types, including Glioblastomas, Philadelphia chromosome-like Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Congenital fibrosarcomas, Cellular mesoblastic nephroma, Acute myeloid leukemia, radiation-associated Thyroid cancer, Secretory breast carcinoma & Mammary analog secretory carcinoma of the salivary gland. NTRK3 positive patients can be treated with NTRK inhibitors such as the FDA-approved drugs Larotrectinib or Entrectinib. This is associated with high response rates, regardless of NTRK gene, fusion partner, and tumor type. | ||||||
