| Specimen: | 10 mL(5 mL min.) Urine/Saliva in a sterile screw-capped container OR 2 mL (1 mL min.) Plasma from 1 Lavender top (EDTA) tube OR 2 mL(1 mL min.) Serum from 1 Red top (No additive) tube OR 2 mL(1 mL min.) CSF/BAL fluid in a sterile screw-capped container OR 5 g (3 g min.) Fresh Tissue in normal saline. Ship refrigerated. Separate serum/plasma aseptically within 2 hours of collection. The nature of the specimen on the Test Request Form is mandatory. | ||||||
