5 mL (1 mL min.) aliquot of 24-hour urine. Keep refrigerated during collection. Add boric acid (1g/100 ml urine) to the 24-hour collection to maintain pH below 7.5. Mix well and aliquot. Ship refrigerated or frozen. Record 24-hour volume on urine container and test request form. |
